Tampere Stadium – our Ratina
Is situated in the middle of the city only 700 meters from the Central Square and 1000 meters from the Main Railway Station.

Prior to the construction of the current stadium, there was a sports field in Ratina, a place where some football matches of the Helsinki Olympic Games 1952 were played.
The construction was completed 1966. Major renovations has still made over the years for example partly new layout and new track surface 2016. Stadium has class 1 certificate.
The Tampere Stadium has approximately 16 800 seats, of which 4 000 are located in a covered main tribune. When the field area is in use, for example in concerts, the audience capacity will increase to a total of about 30 000 people.
Inside the building there are facilities for wrestling, team gymnastics and other indoor exercise, as well as a fitness room, a cafeteria and meeting rooms.
